Mobility Mod for Catalyst drivers

Thread Starter
A nice individual (d-force) on the dell forums has created a little program to modify drivers without mobility support. Here is the tread:

Here is the download:

With all the long drawn out instructions and problems I see on the boards regarding new drivers this program will make future catalyst driver upgrads a snap. You can also always wait for other sites to modify them as well (e.g. s-seven)

p.s. Personally I have not tried these out yet but others seem to report good things about it so far.

Man, I'm just a wimp. I stick with whatever the latest drivers are on the Sager Notebook site and be done with it.

You video-tweakers are too risky for my blood!

RIGHT! I said "wimp" not "fool" - guess I'll head over there and see what damage I can download for my system!

I have had no problems installing the catalyst drivers per the forum instructions.
I have never used this "mobility mod" before, what does it do? Should I have been? Thanks
