80gig HD's and wireless G (and free systems?)

The webpage for the 5670 now has 80gig HD's and wireless G options - and the price seems to come up as zero (for some configurations)

I assume this (the price) is an error and wouldn't be honoured - and i wouldn't want to do that to our grascious host.

it seems obvious that i pretend to order my system far too often. also, when will we see 80gig 5400 (or 7200) drives?

If the price is coming to zero, it may be your web browser (if you're refering to our website pctorque.com). What OS and browser are you using?

and soundblaster extigies - someone;s lineup is becoming much cooler - and now i'll need to save more cash b4 i can buy -- unless the zero price thing stays. I was very tempted to submit an order and then kick up a stink when it didn't work, but i'm not that big a drama queen.

(not that i'm stopping any of the resident drama queens from trying)

And the award goes to

Anderson : for the most number of successive posts in a row in a span of a few minutes

You should try ordering the free system and see what happens

adam - your site works fine in IE - guess it's a safari thing 9if others can replicate it, you should probably put a warning on the pages untill it gets fixed.

remember, we dont want to alienate all those osx users who might be tempted to buy a powerful machine

I had a VERY SIMILAR experience when I first went to PC Torque back in jan/feb, I was using Phoenix 0.5 - it did work in IE, but then they "fixed" the site so it works with Mozilla/Phoenix (should have worked for Safari/Chameleon, too?)

Interesting. Don't we all just love web STANDARDS and how they're implemented in various browsers?

PS: that last-minute fix for Mozilla/Phoenix earned them my sale, such that it was, simply because I was this || close to going elsewhere that supported Phoenix (I hate using IE).

Any idea when the wireless integrated mini-pc card in 802.11G will be available?? Thanks

80 GB HD

In the 8887 configurator the raw builder shows a 5400 rpm drive and the 8887-V only shows a 4200 rpm drive. Both are the same price.

I have been configuring my system for several months now. Paying on credit card to get available credit down to where I can charge my system.

btw, PC Torque has a disclaimer somewhere their site that says they aren't responisble for browser incompatibilities, and also, they can refuse a sale to anyone

So good luck getting a system for free :-P

The way Safari handles Javascript is not compliant with the way PCTorque puts it out.

lol I know PCTorque has awesome customer service but I doubt they would honor the zero prices even if you threw a stink! haha

That's from the very bottom of the Policies page on PCTorque.com--it's been there quite a while. I had problems with the pricing a few months ago, heh heh
