Hi,
Just to rap this thread up and to let everyone know your time was not wasted helping me I am going to order a 5690 from PC Torque. Again I would like to thank all of you that have taken the time and put in the effort to help someone out. It is going to be configured like this…..

P4 3.2GHZ
1GB DDR400
15” UXGA
60GB 7200RPM
ATI 9700 128MB

The pricing is not that much different for a configuration of a lesser machine, a couple hundred bucks. So might as well go for it.

Just ordered it a few minutes ago.....man this is the best, most powerful machine I have ever had or will have when it arrives. I have always skimped with my desktop because it was easily upgradeable and had the luxury to buy 2nd or 3rd best to save a buck yet get great performance. Man I feel like so excited I can hardly stand up!!!!!!
WOW, I can’t believe I am going to own a machine that is this good, GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
