Call Of Duty Question, sound familar?

Ok, I remember while back reading threads and threads people complaining about the Call Of Duty screen lock up issue!!! Well, I guess I can welcome myself to that club, I believe I actually got 23 seconds of playtime in before the Screen Lock/Crash what ever the f***, was causing it.

Was there an immediate fix for this or some updated driver by ATI that I missed, which I need to obtain in order to play COD?

Anyone with good info, please respond and give me a heads up....
Thanks
Jed

BTW - Been playing FAR CRY and Unreal 04 now for weeks with NOOOOO problems, so found this rather odd... Maybe COD should have a "Not Compatible with XPS on the box?"

I read a post that someone switched to Omega Drivers and that sorted out the problem,it worked for me as well.

Runs sweet onn mine

I got my 9100 yesterday. COD runs perfectly, very impressed. I use the omega drivers and i also did completly fresh install aswell.

I still havent found out what brand screen i have yet though, although i see no major problems with it, yet.

I played the whole game straight through on my 9100 with the ATI drivers with the hack from driverheaven. I sent it back due to screen issues and bought a Sager 5690 and it locked up 3 times on me before I even got halfway through the game. Go figure, identical specs too.
