how can i open my acer aspire 1600?

i need an instruction how to open my acer apire 1600 to access the mainboard.
i removed all screws from but it won't open!

Opening the ASPIRE 1600

It's pretty easy to open the Aspire 1600:

1) open-wide the screen in order to completely expose the hinge cover;
2) remove the hinge cover by hand and with the help of a phillips screw driver (to pull them up);
3) unscrew the power button;
4) unscrew the keyboard (3 screws);
5) detach the keyboard pulling it towards the screen;
6) you now have access to the mainboard, cpu and whatever;
7) have fun!

Opening the ACER ASPIRE 1600

ZMaster's guide is absolutely correct. I used it yesterday to open my Aspire 1604 LC which seemed to be having some overheating problems. I'm including a few pictures here (as attachments) about how I went about it.

Simply follow ZMaster's guide. My aim was to reach and clean the CPU fan.

i know it a little bit lateWOOOOOW thats looks SO clean compared to mine,,, by the way using your guide,, been looking for over a week for something to explain how to get to the heatsink, I'd taken out all the screws out of the bottom hard drive cd rom, battery an could not for the life of me figure out what was holding it in,,,, anyway i knew it was the heatsink cos both fan works but it still cut out at 84 or 86 c,,,,
now if i can just remember which srew goes where,,, ohhh dear oh dear...aint got a guide with pics for that have by any chance,,,, BRILLIANT by the way,,olyzhan ,,,, zmaster!
