Any PCPitstop scores?

Any scores with m6809 and the default OS from any of you? I only get around 1400 with the included OS off the restore DVD, but get as high as 1900+ off my own install of XP Home or Pro. I was wondering if anyone else had any PCPitsop scores they could share so I could get an idea if its just something I am doing. I would love to run off the images on the restore CD so I can retain Roxio, Money, and NAV 2004.

Thanks

Iwill format and ghost it back and see if I can't get it back up with the restore DVD. I appreciate the response.

bad test

pc pitstop is not what u want to use to test. not accurate... use sisoft sandra to test much better... trust me...

Used to

I quit using SiSift Sandra a while back. Too many updates, and some of the benchmarks take longer to run than what I typically want to do. I would still use it if I needed a more precise synthetic benchmark for different areas, but for a quick determination of the system's performance as a whole, I prefer using PCPitstop. I agree that it is a more "accurate" synthetic benchmark, but it just doesn't suit what I am typically looking to do .... get quick info.

I wonder why you scored that "right out of the box" and I scored lower with a slightly overclocked system?

Not bad

1605 with my 6810 with 1gb ram and 7200 rpm hd. no overclocking. will see if i can beat that with tweaking.

edit: 1639 after some tweaking.

Just got a 1656 with my M6809. Stock except swapped the HD for the 7200 RPM Hitachi and running Omegas with 440/230. Surprised by the higher 6805 scores.

I just opened my M6811 and ran it and got a whopping 1072. Wonder why mine is so low compared to others. We're your tests truely "straight out of the box" like mine. I'm sure I can get those scores after tweaking it but factory fresh i only managed a 1072.

I jsut read this....dunno how old the message is though. Maybe yous should try to retest and compare.

"Please Note: Scoring has changed! We are re-calibrating our tests and scoring system. This does not necessarily mean your system has gotten faster or slower. If you load some previous test results, they will be scored according to the new system; this may help you become accustomed to the new scores. Please visit our forums if you have questions,"

You low results are likely from the system being set in the default dynamic speed switching mode. Make sure you are on AC with the power profile set to "Home/Office Desk" or "Always On".

1833 with my M6811 out of the box.
hmmm... weird 1846 - 1833 = 13 ... 13 points = price of 1 Gb ram + 7200 hdd???!!@!@

these tests are not accurate. you are not runing tests on the same laptop with the same programs running in background, with the same drivers for video and mainboard. not to mention if the hdd is fragmented or not. Maybe the ppl that got high scores want to share the version of drivers they use. Ppl that got lower should try the new drivers and retest
