What do you mean? I know they don't get PO'ed if you wipe out the HDD with linux (simply call them and ask for restore CDs if you mess up the partitions). But, do they provide linux drivers? Installation support? I'd really like to know because I've been looking at buying one for a while now.
I bought a certified used T42 from IBM based on the 2379DXU for $1500. Sounded like a great deal and I should recieve it just before or after Thanksgiving. The only knocker is the 1 year vs 3 year warranty but overall I think it was a great deal. The only issue I'm looking at is noise.
