The specifics for the B777-200 (767-200/-400) In-Seat PC power system at the PC port is:
POWER PORT = `HYPERTRONIX' pin configuration
VOLTAGE = 15DC (Under/Over Voltage protection = 10/17 per mfg specifications)
AMPS = 5.8 (Output current - MAX per mfg specifications)
POWER = 87 Watts (calculated)
Not sure exactly what this means in terms of the 8890 - wether it'll be enough or not. One would think that if there wasn't enough power to power the machine, it would just drain the battery, but slower than usual. But reading through all the threads about plane ports still hasn't confirmed this. (or have they?!?!)
