wohoo! UPS just delivered my new laptop. can't wait to check it out. Have to work late tonight and alot this week while on the road, but should be able to report back how well it plays Age of Mythology next week. I posted before about how I was forced to have it delivered to my house instead of work and how I had to make sure someone was there to accept the package. Well, I couldn't arrange for someone to be there all day, but most of the day the nanny was there with my daughter. We lucked out and the UPS guy arrived just after the nanny and daughter got back from visiting the wife at work. If they weren't there when the UPS guy arrived, I would have had to go pick it up somewhere and I am going out of town for a whole week so I wouldn't have it until I got back and I am going to do some LAN gaming while on the road with my brother and nephew so HOW SWEET IT IS that it was delivered today! Just busting to share my excitement. WOHOOO!!!

Cool,... I have mine for a week no and am selling my desktop PC right now,... no need to have that anymore ....
The 5660 is just awsome ... (could be a bit lighter though, and I would like a miniPCI wireless LAN card)

Got my 5620!!!!!!YESSSSSSSS

It is a bit heavy but who cares. She's a powerful machine. Not noisy at all unless you stand behind it. But the power adapter is bloody noisy. That'll go on the ground.
Left the dvd software at work though . D'OH. And now I'm going away for 4 days. I don't think I'll take it. It'll be a hassle thru customs and stuff. Heavier machine with nothing on it except windows.
The screen is awesome but I'll need a mouse.
Its definitely a she. I don't know why but it is. And she's a powerful mama.

They say the AC adapter has a fan...

The power supply of the 5660 indeed has a little fan, however until I read it hear, I really didn't notice it.

I'm not sure how you folks use the adapter, but mine is usually laying on the floor ... so ...

kitekat,

I've seen a couple (couple out of well over 100) that the fan makes noise. Call Sager Monday and tell them the AC adapter fan is really loud and buzzing and they should be able to get you a new one out immediately.

Its not something that bothered me incredibly but I guess that it might over time. And maybe the excitemement is overiding the irritation.I noticed it b/c the adapter was right next to the computer rather than on the floor.
I'll see how it goes after using the laptop after a week.
And thanx for the info.
