After replacing the first 2 orders, I now have rejected my 3rd order after getting screwed on the financing and placed my 4th order. Hopefully this system will be good. It actually comes out to $42 less than I was going to be paying on the original order and I got an upgraded screen and DVD burner!

9100
3.2ghz
15.4" UXGA screen
256mb ram (1 gig on the way)
4x DVD burner
1350 wireless card
64mb mobile 9700
60gb hard drive
3 year business warranty with complete care and on site

$1902 after rebates tax and shipping. Stupid $98.00 in tax

consider yourself lucky. i paid 170 tax on my 600m.

Well hopefully it turns out well. The configuration looks great, but why go all out with everything except video? Budget restrictions, Or are you waiting for an upgraded card to be released or something?........

Budget restrictions. The extra memory doesnt make it faster at all. It still has the same processor in it. Im over my budget on this thing as it is. I'll pop a new video card in down the line if need be once I get a real job. The thing im most excited about the 9100 is, that I can replace the processor with a different one down the road Hopefully intel stays with socket 478 for a while!

Edit: Damn. Intel is cutting off support for the 478 at 3.4 ghz You can read about it here. There is also a link on why the prescott is slower than the northwood. http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/dis...123103754.html
