If you want IR, go with the Alienware Area-51m. It has an IR sensor right in the front. It also works with an included remote control.

Yeah, but the Area-51m is much cooler. the iXPS is just plain fugly.

It is cooler. But everytime they go head to head XPS has better numbers.
