Asus mobo?

I found a rather extensive XP reinstall guide (http://notebookforums.com/showthread...810#post188810) and I did a quick search to see if my 8890 has an Asus motherboard as mentioned in the guide, but didn't see anything. I vaguely remember reading it somewhere, but don't recall it to be Asus. Any ideas?

Clevos makes the motherboard and not Asus.

Suspect that the author posted this item in a couple of different forums to help as many people that he could. I didn't really see any reference that the 8890 has an Asus motherboard within the article.

Thanks G. I didn't mean I read it in that post, I meant I read it somewhere in the past. But thanks all the same. I glanced through the post and I doubt differences in motherboards would change the sequence of doing things much.

Just - turn off those card readers so that the O/S in on C: where it belongs.
