how can i check what the mem and core is on the vid card?
install latest omega drivers and check the radlinker tab (probably the easiest way and most beneficial as the drivers really do help).
You mean you already have it? I guess you could use ATITool to check the mem/core speeds.
install the omega drivers.... with radlink option and then check radlink in the display properties

Can you connect the laptop to the computer you are using right now in any way? i.e. ethernet network, direct cable connection, firewire, etc?

Also, when and where did you order it? I am very suprised that you got this, and you are probably the first person in the US to have it!
