8790 Won't power up

I stepped out of my office for a minute and when I came back in my 8790 had shut itself down. It wont power up on battery or ac. I left a message with Sager tech support, anybody know how long it will take them to call back? Has anyone else had this happen? I have only had it for 2 weeks. Up until now it has been perfect; fast and no dead pixels. I had just gotten everything loaded on it and was taking it with me on a trip next week. The timing could not have been worse.

If you haven't done so already, take out the battery, and then try to turn the computer on. Basically with the battery out you are performing a reset. Hopefully, it will turn power on, if it doesn't get Sager on the phone.

If you still haven't haven't been contacted by Sager tech support and purchased from PCTorque, you can try calling PCTorques own tech support by calling their 800#. They're available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Good luck.

Sager called me back, they gave me an RMA. I dropped it off at UPS this afternoon. Sent it back 2 day air. Hope to get it back by the end of next week.

Good news, just got email from Sager. They fixed it and sent it back 2 day air. I will get it on Monday. I guess a 10 day turnaround is not too bad.
