yeah, the discount is really not that much, unfortunately. it's not like the massive dell / apple / hp discounts you can sometimes find. =/

yeah my point exactly ..but you do have to put up with slow build times, and their reseller rating isn't as high, but it doesn't matter as long as the computer is good...tell us when you get it!

I got a whole wopping 1% discount for ordering a pair of GX7s, and then another 2% discount for doing a wire transfer. I'm not a student, so that was the best I could do.

Damn, didn't know you could save more with a wire transfer, shoulda asked. Ordered online, paid with a credit card, the sent a scanned image of my student id to the sales dept and they reduced what they were going to charge on my card. I would call them first and give them a heads up though, couldn't hurt.
