My battery is not recharging...

Has anyone else had this problem? My battery has been at 0% charge for about a week now, and doesn't charge at all when the AC adapter is hooked up...whether the computer is on or off. Is my battery toast?

For a week? It sounds like toast.

Two simple things. I assume if you unplug the laptop, it doesn't run? If it does, run it till it shuts down to see if it gives it a boost. Two, reseat the battery and check the connector pins on the battery and where it touchs off to make sure there is nothing funky, bent pins, or burning.

Yeah, it doesn't work at all when I unplug it. I tried reseating it, and the power meter in Windows recognizes it being disconnected and reconnected...but it doesn't recharge. It just stays at 0%. I guess I can have them send me a new one.
