How do I make a backup of the BIOS before flashing?

I have not had a chance to mess with my laptop much this week its been busy at work...

Anyway I aquired the m6811 BIOS and an ARIMA OEM BIOS dated 5/20/2004!
Can not wait for a chance to try them!
