I don't either. I think anyone who's ever asked proportable questions, they not only know the systems, but answer everyone pretty quickly and pretty detailed... even if they weren't buying from them.
One thing you have to factor in, which I did... was their use of higher quality parts... especially Kingston's performance RAM... Also, you must figure in their 3 year warranty. In my opinion... I bought from someone who knew what I wanted to buy with out reading off a spec sheet. That means a lot. They even suggesting me getting the 1.5 banias -- this is months ago, because at the time it was the best bang for my buck.... with the intent of upgrading to the 2.0-2.3 ghz dothan a year from now when prices dropped. I wanted to go with a 1.7 at the time, it was crazy expensive, but justin at proportable talked me into getting the 7200rpm hard drive because it better suited my needs, than waisting what I didn't have for bragging rights on the cpu....... bad sales method, but I appreciated it.
The one thing that is very important is they started using the extended edition 7200rpm drives right when I got mine.. They are more expensive, but their wattage is like 1/2 of the regular 7200rpm drives... helps performance and battery life and heat issues.
just a though.
