Alienware's 3.06 advertizes with HT

According to the configurator, the 3.06 p4 DOES support hyperthreading on www.alienware.com. If this is true, and the sager's config is identical to alienware...then why can't Sager support the 3.06 w/ HT like alienware?

hmm

I would buy the 3.06 w/ HT in a heartbeat if Sager gets it!

Fact #1:
Alienware DOES NOT have a notebook that supports hyperthreading.
Fact #2:
Alienware DOES NOT have a notebook that officially supports the 3.06GHZ CPU and is ready for the customer yet.

I'm getting my info directly from the makers.
They can advertise HT because the processor is of that design, they're advertising the 3.06GHZ CPU to get pre-sales in anticipation of it becoming available.
They're working on getting the 3.06GHZ CPU into the Sager 5660/Alienware Area 51-M system, but they're dealing with heat issues (testing proper heat dissipation designs).

The 8886 WILL hold the 3.06GHZ CPU, but it also DOES NOT support hyperthreading right now. There is no word on when and if it will be able to support hyperthreading at this point.
