Any pics of the Hypersonic AX6 and AX7

Does anybody have any pictures of their hypersonic ax6 or ax7? I would like to see what the paint looks like on these.

The AX7 just came out, so I doubt you'll find any pics of it anywhere except on HS's website. However, there are a few pics of the GX7 on the boards; the chassis are similar enough if you just want to get a feel for how it'll look painted.

Haven't seen anyone with a painted AX6 anywhere yet.

Keep an eye on this thread to see if DaleDrechsler posts pics of his AX6.

As for my AX7, I fully intend on posting pics and a review when it gets here.

not much posting mine as I didn't get a paint job (its being used a corp business machine).

I'll certainly do a full review and post photos when my AX7 hits the decks. (although still no custom paint job)

here's another pic, though i really need to get a good camera. flourcescent light causes some distortion. the paint job is flawless - no bumps or orange peel anywhere...

what do you mean "used to" rince?
I bought it from ibuypower and it was in my possession for 25 days until I decided to return it

I paid 1850 for that laptop w/ 512mb ram, athlon64 3400+, 9600 128mb gpu, etc

and there was a cheaper laptop (the compal cl56) which ibuypower just started carrying for almost 100 dollars less fully configured (and was the better performer at gaming, mobility, portability)

plus there was a heat issue in the left palm rest i was unaware of before i bought it. it bothered me after 2-3 hours of gaming... that area got HOT. plus the keyboard had the irregular CTRL key positioning

Hey Rincewind can you pop off the the back of the lcd on the compal? so it can be painted? That's a section i don't know how to paint (need to be able to remove plastic so i can wetsand and spraypaint). That and the dvd drive.

I've never taken the LCD panel off my laptop so I'm unsure as to how to disassemble it

the dvd drive is removable via switch on the bottom of the laptop... pull it with ur finger and the drive comes out.

to paint the plastic part of the drive u just unscrew the front plate of the drive and it comes off in a lil piece

Thanks Rincewind. And cute girl. Reminds me of a girl from school.
