Help with my Toshiba Protege 4010

On a plane ride to Vegas I was messing around with the laptop when all of a sudden I think I hit a HotKey combination or something and my screen reduced itself about half the size of its normal 15 - 16" size completely centered on the monitor and the icons are now a little less than an inch big. when I hit fn and F5 the screen just goes black....can anyone please help me with my problem...I tried restarting in safe mode but nothing seems to resolve my problem...Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Help with my Toshiba Protege 4010

I don't have a Protege 4010, but teach this kind of stuff - anyway, try this:

Go to the desktop (flag m - gets you back to the desktop)

at the desktop, right click your mouse and on the popup menu, pull down to properties.

You will get a Display Properties window

Click on the Settings tab and adjust your screen resolution

hit OK.

Now, I don't know if that's going to solve your problem since I'm not on your computer.
