Compal logo/badge slot

Has anyone made their own logo/design for this part of the laptop?

I noticed that Rincewind had that area filled up with something black. How and what materials did you use to fill that up?

its a fine grained textured plastic with adhesive backing... the texture is like the black part of the notebook if u feel it with ur finger... i picked it up at a craft store and cut it out to fit the logo area

my badge hole was filled and painted over
I used to have a black voodoo sticker in there, and for awhile I covered it up with an aluminum Voodoo badge.
No more though, no words, nothing, just the voodoo tattoo

Maybe if we get enough of us to order, Heath can make some custom badges for us... something similar to this:

I think we should start a thread, dedicated to getting people in on this to have a group buy, and somebody should contact Heath, and ask him if he would be willing to go ahead with it, and also ask how many orders he would need in order to make them for us. Heath said he would no longer be making them, as they are not profitable, but he might make an exception if we get a pretty large group buying them.
