Cicero 3128 (similar to Sager 4080)
Clevo D400V

Pentium 4 2.53gHz 533FSB
256MB PC3200 CL3 Ram
ATi Radeon 9600 Pro Mobility (M10) 128MB
40GB 5400rpm Fuji HD, 15" SXGA+ (1400x1050)

Opening It Up:
Ordered it at the local Future shop , received it 4 days later. Came well packed, with a carrying case as well, pleather thou. Either way, was well packed in an attractive box with a massive P4 logo. Didn¡¦t contain much beyond Windows XP Home Restore disk and some software, but that isn¡¦t why I really ordered it. Cost me 2400 even basically and it¡¦s so far been worth every penny.

Casing:
The build quality is incredible, I¡¦ve been very conscious in looking for signs of weakness and overall it¡¦s built like a tank. The logo just says Cicero instead of Sager and well, over al it gets killer props for being well built, easy to clean and VERY easy to modify possibly.

Screen:
The screen is fabulous; I¡¦ve been running it in Linux using VESA and Windows XP using Omega & ATi drivers. Screen quality is outstanding, very easy to read and overall a good screen to suit this laptop. Ghosting, what¡¦s that? None of it here, games and DVD looks awesome and it¡¦s just a great screen.

Fans, Heat & Noise:
I¡¦ve been trying to locate the areas of heat and really it¡¦s only under the screen and to the left of the touchpad. I haven¡¦t taken measurements of the temperatures yet but its feels semi-warm. Noise isn¡¦t to bad, the fans are good, they spin up every so often.

Video and Sound:

Well, first and foremost, the video card is amazing, if you didn¡¦t know I had purchased a Compaq R3055CA and was disappointed by 9000IGP, it just lacked the power I needed. This video card plays ANYTHING I throw at it with flying colors, hasn¡¦t shown one sign of weakness yet and gives me incredible multimedia and 2d/3d quality that is VERY similar to my 9600PRO in my desktop, well my old desktop.
Although I don¡¦t got benchmarks for everyone I score 11,000 in 3d Mark 2001SE and I currently play UT2K4 at 1400x1050 with highest settings and it runs incredible. Just finished Joint Ops; Typhoon Rising at 1280x1024 at highest settings at well, looks fabulous.
Sound is plugged into a set of Logitech z5500's thru a Sound Blaster mp3+ USB, and it rocks. 5.1 gaming is nuts.
