Sorry for the continuation of questions but Compaq is unable to give me any information on anything I ask them, I swear I don't understand how these people call themselves pre sales people when they don't even know what they are selling.
I was wondering if any of you would mind explaining how the powernow technology works? Does it work automatically, without any user adjustments or settings or are you able to go some place, maybe in the control panel to adjust the settings of this feature like you can do with a Intel P4 M chip?
Will the feature only work when running the notebook on battery power, and then automatically be disabled when plugged in to A/C power or does it work no matter what the power mode is?
I was finally able to find a R3000 model to check out in the stores yesterday, and out of all the models they had of other notebooks, my eyes were still drawn to the R3000 model line, I can't believe how huge a 15.4" display is, and the 17" screens, jesus they are just a monster, I wouldn't want something that big sitting on my lap
