check this out, I know a guy in town that does custom paint jobs on a lot of things and I had him paint my new area51m. What do you guys think? I'm surprised that alienware never offered this type of color on their notebooks.

Sorry guys, I was just kidding about that. I did that in Fireworks about ten minutes ago. I just wanted to see if anyone would fall for it. I do have REAL pictures of my notebook though.

I already put them on there so I figured I'd just give you guys a link instead of taking the time to re-attach them to a post.

I do think alienware should offer that color though, what do you think? I would've gladly dished out additional cash to get it.

What I did is I placed a square with a red/orange fade on top of the notebook and used the hue effect. Then, I hit print screen so I had an image of the notebook without being two layers (i probably could've just mashed the layers together). Then, I placed that directly over the real picture and cut away everything but the notebook on the red picture so that the rest of the stuff wouldn't have a red tint to it. I know, I'm bored tonight lol

nice job with the photo editting.....very nice

That color looks a lot like Martian Red which they offer on the DT's. I thought it was a nice color and would've selected that if it was available on the 51m.

Could you make my car blue... I took a picture of my car and placed it on this background (used Adobe Photoshop 7)... I would like too see what my car would've looked like if I was able to find it in blue.... I am just a beginner here... Could you get it in an Patriot Blue.... its the Dodge color for the RAM's, Dakata's, and Durangos...

Old post... but I have 2 "martian red" towers. A original dragon & a Predator 1.5. The original sales pictures do no justice to how beautiful this colour actually is
