I have a Dell $50 Coupon to sell...

I received this coupon from "Alecea Standlee (Senior Customer Care Rep)" I called them up to complain about not getting my mail in rebate of $250, so she said she would give me 2 coupons, one was worth $100 which was already used and I still have this $50 coupon I would like to sell... I have a verified paypal account you can send the funds to, once an agreement is made... And for a reference of creditbility, I have 357 positive feedbacks on my ebay account (thequickshipstore)... Here is the email they sent me with the coupon code:

Thank you for contacting Dell Customer Care.
We were sorry to learn of your unsatisfactory experience with Dell, and hope you will accept the below coupon along with our sincerest apologies.

The value of your concession coupon is: $50.00
Your concession coupon code is: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
Please note that this offer is valid for new U.S. online purchases through the Dell Home Systems site only. Your coupon must be redeemed within 6 months of being issued (issued on 3/31/04), and may be combined with other select offers or discounts.

Once again, we apologize for the experience you've had and will work to do better in the future. We look forward to earning your business again, and thank you for choosing Dell, Inc.

Thank You,
Alecea Standlee

In the "spirit of kindness" I'm not asking full price, because thats not reasonable... Im just asking for someone who is already going to buy something off Dell why not help me out and buy this code, and in return for your help you will in the end have an extra $10 off your order...

Dude, I really think you're barking up the wrong tree here. You might have better luck selling it on eBay or a similar online auction where the community isn't so tight.
Well, most time the coupon is not working, because dell don't allow double coupon.
Sometime it work, but people can get better price by talking to customer representative.
So it is not worth all the trouble to buy some coupon.

PS. Coupon on ebay are most free, I feel bad for people who buy it.

I know for a fact it will work with other coupons or deals dell is promoting... Because I already used the $100 coupon they sent me with another 10% off coupon on software and assories a couple months ago... I dont know what the big problem is, all you would have to do is copy and paste the code into the checkout area and whalla $50 off, but essentially sense you are helping me out it would only be $10 off sense you would buy it from me for $40...

How about labor cost for paying and using coupon?
i give you 20 dollars for it.

As I said in the coupon topic, you are really not getting what the spirit of the board and these threads are about..... like humble pie said you will have more luck at eBay or a similar online auction where the community isn't so tight-knit.

Sorry if I missed anything, but I dont see why anyone would just give away $50 to a complete stranger exspecially when there not really that needy or havent helped me in any way... Its not like any of us are poor living on the street, dieing for this $50 coupon... I just thought someone could HELP ME OUT MOSTLY, BUT IN RETURN FOR THEIR HELP, THEY WOULD GET $10 FREE... Seems like a win - win situation to me, so whats the problem again???

PS. Thanks for the $20 offer, I will definitely keep you in mind if no other offers come along...
Well, I think it is more about cost and benefit.
Who want to buy a coupon from a stranger and risk the posibility of getting nothing?
Espacially the risk and benefit ratio is 40 : 10.
So $20 seems a good deal already. 20 : 30.

Good luck.

And again, whats the problem?:

1. We won't get the coupon until after pay, how do we know it works apart from your word (and no offence, but you are a new member...)

2. You are not exactly offering an enticing deal, all that effort for $10 off that might work?

3. Its not the best win-win that I can see, even if it would work you benefit $40 the other only $10...

1.) That is why we use paypal... If anything goes wrong you can go to them and say the code did not work, and they will refund your money... Sense my account with them has the buyer protection up to $500... You can look at my ebay feedbacks, only 1 bad person leaving a neg., and that was because I left a negative feedback for him first...
2.) Look at #1 incase code does not work...
3.) Yeah well I was the one on the phone for hours to get the codes... I should deserve the majority of the cash...

Sriker - does this really have to be discussed in two threads?

No, but I have to plead my case to "DELL-sakor1" 2 times for him to get him to understand...

I understand, but I do not agree. There is a difference.
