Well after a horrible week of being tossed around the whole friggin world (TX / India / Phill. Customer Care) and telling my story of my keyboard being messed up on arrival(they sent a new one) / missing power equip (which they resent twice as the wrong part numbers were entered on the second try) etc etc etc and I could go on but will just get to the end... I got the 4x DVD burner and an extra CD-RW combo drive on the way. What am I going to do with 3 drives?! hmmmm Maybe Ill sell the extras off of E-Bay

thanks alot for the idea guys!!!

i was whining on dell chat for about 2 mins before the guy agreed to give me $100 credited back to my credit card.... i tried for another 5 mins to get the APR, or another accessory out of him, but no luck. Still, another $100 off is fine with me

I had a round of bad luck with refurb replacement screens, a bunch of dead pixels. So they offered to replace my 8600b with a 8600c but i went ahead with a laptop return as i didn't like loosing the legacy ports when my sales rep offered the APR. I got the 100 bucks credit when they screwed up my replacement laptop order.
