Well i just purchased an Aurora, specs in sig. Thanks to all the people who helped me come up with a custom setup that would fit my needs. Ill be sure to keep everyone posted on whats happening, and im glad to be playing the phase game now

Well the day after i ordered, on the 23rd, they decided to reconfigure their Aurora's and upgrade the processor starting at 3500+ and discontinue the 3200+ that i was going to get. So i just cancelled that order, and started again.

So im back on Phase 1, June 29th.

Today, i woke up at 9:30, called Alienware. The first guy that picked up put me on hold then i got dissconnected. I was kind of uneasy that on the first time ever calling i would get dissconnected. So i called back again to verify my order, and another rep picked up and helped me confirm my order. Then after that i walked to the bank and got a cashiers check, and sent it priority mail with tracking to Alienware Corp.

Im still in phase 1, but im hopefull it will be updated to 2 since i verified today. Now i know what people mean by the Reps foreign accent, it kind of was hard to understand them a few times. And the rep talked to me for at leaast 5 minutes on how he thought i should get a better warranty. All and all though a good day, and the phase game is already starting to take its effect on me.

Welp, its 2 days later and im still in phase 1. Phase game sure does get to me, but i just remind myself of people like mario who waited a long ass time. I emailed AW asking them why i was still in phase 1 two days later, after i had confirmed my order nearly 48 hours ago and they said

Everything seems to be ok with your order. It is still in Phase 1 because it usually takes a couple of days for the order to actually be imported. Your system should start moving through the next phases soon.
I guess after i start to at least see movement on my system things will feel better, or ill just become more addicted

OMG PHASE 2!!! After being in Phase 1 for 3 days, it feels so good to see movement. Even though i have a long time to go, its so nice to see they actually know im out there and bumped me up a phase!!! YAY!!!

Has anyone's phase ever moved over a weekend?

OMG!!! SOMEBODY POUR SOME WATER ON MY PHASE WHEELS BECAUSE IM UP TO 3! They moved me up again in the same day. Boy o boy im excited. Even though no one else prolly reads these, its a good place to get out my happiness.

Anyone know if they update phases over weekends?

I read em... but they usually don't update on weekends. This is a holiday weekend too... so even if they're working the sales dept. is off. You won't at least SEE anything till tuesday methinks.

No they do not work on weekends

ya it took me awhile too, and i was dying to play the phase game as well, but it is really bad on your body to play it. you wake up, and must check your phase, you get off work, and must check your phase, its quite addictive and it will be all you think about.

Ordered my alienware on July 1st, I called earlier to change my vid card from a 5900xt to an X800XT PE. Still in phase 2 but they said that the orders has been charged to my credit card, im just worried that it could take another 3 days to move to phase 3 since i upgraded my vid card. Im expecting my order on 8/15 since there is a limited availability to an X800XT P.E. Wow, more than month to get my comp. Funny that i will be seeing the bill on my credit card before the comp.

Looks like were about the same in the phase game, should be fun relating to each other during the rest of our wait, and the seconds before we get them
