I dutifully upgraded to FC2 a few weeks ago. I'm now enjoying the 2.6 benefits and ran smack into the PCMCIA problem that a lot of people have reported (and is easily fixed...once you find it). I am having a weird problem, however, and I can't find any solutions. I can't even say, for certain, that it's Fedora.

Around the time I upgraded, my eth0 began to get flakey. Because I can't say for certain that it happened AFTER I upgraded, I don't know whether to blame it on FC2 or not.

The symptoms are simple: in the middle of working, eth0 stops. No more connection. Restarting the network service brings nothing. It's as if I stop receiving a signal. I have checked my cabling, etc., and done everything I can think of except read the logs of the server on the other end (which I realize is important...). What's weird though is that rebooting doesn't help. Sometime, perhaps the next day, eth0 works again.

Of course, and I don't admit this out loud here, but booting into w98 works. [Using my wireless card under w98 resets the machine, though...great!]

Any ideas?
