Sure a lot of folks going for these. How come no one seems to opt for the Dothan 2.0? Not enough extra bang for the extra buck?

i had asked rjtech but not mwave though, but i guess whatever cl 56 offers

Mix - Did they tell you what the build time was? Also, did they mention how the warranty is handled?

hey mix they said that you can send it back to mwave to fix defective components? their site seems to suggest you'd have to send it back to the manufacturer (compal) to get anything done

what you mean by saying generic components? don't the others do the same thing?...
I have asked and they said there would be WD, Maxtor, Hitachi, or Panasonic HD; generic memory, Hitachi, Toshiba or Panasonic dvd/cd-rw. who knows?
