buying w/edu discount?

so i am ordering my r3000z next month. i was wondering, i know that compaq has a educational discount (6% sounds about right) and since I am a high school student, i figured i can cash in on that. Seeing that the current 100 mail-in rebate is stackable, i would use both of them (for a total savings of $160 plus free WXGA 15.4 and 54g upgrades). However, if i buy with the edu discount, how am i supposed to pay for it, considering I don't have a credit card in my name. Could i use my dad's credit card and use my edu discount? or do i have to send in a money order?

so, how would that go down for me?

there are actualy. i haven't done specific research on the HP policy yet but will soon. BTW, ComputerGeeks.com offers HS student discount, 5% any item not marked "GeekSpecial". In a worst case scenario, I can have my 1/2 bro order it for me (he is a chem prof at uic) and just give him the cash. Haha, watch me rack up a $1300 config with $100 mail-in+6% edu discount+free shipping+no tax.
