for those of you interessted in detail benchmakr information on the new Sony 17" go to the following link :

I translate the first sentences I wrote there:
The benchmarks are done with Sandra 2004
The harddrive is exchangable if you know how to handle a screw driver (it is a little tricky but it works) WHen changing the drive I saw that the CPU is mounted in a socket. So I would assume it is changeable.
WHat I concider bad is the price difference between the 117S and the 197 modell. There is now difference in hardware excapt the CPU (at least in germany).
