If you don't know where all the keys are without labels by now, you should be slapped :P

I have seen 10-12 year old P100's on a network that have been used without mercy for their entire existance, by people who smoke (ie nicotine stains on the keys) and eat and drink at their work stations. All the keys were still there. Totally gross looking, but still there.

Honestly, in all my years around electrical stuff, including the dozen or so pocket calculators I have owned, I have never seen the keys wipe off clean. Even my TV and stereo remotes are in pristine condition - no, I am not one of those people who wrap their remotes in shrink wrap to keep them clean.

Don't worry, type happy...

speaking of remotes. I just looked at my 4 year old Toshiba TV remote, some of the more commonly used keys (Power, Vol +/- , CH +/-) have somewhat faded. They are still visable, but have been somewhat wiped (almost) clean.

Most of the commonly used controls on my TV remote are worn off. I don't watch much TV (just The Daily Show and football games) and I've only had it for two years.

Sorry to hear about all your remotes. Guess they are not all created equal...

My 3 year old toshiba has quite a few keys faded and some completely gone. I don't know which ones as I'm at work at the moment, but I believe they are mostly the most used keys.
