I was making lunch when the door bell ringed. The estimated shipping day was still to come, so my intentions were that it was UPS, bringing an item i bought on ebay. I opened the door, glanced at the man, and then looked past him at another man brnging a black colored box towards my house; i knew what it was.
I broght it to my room, and rapidly opened the system, but I came to a sudden stop, as the Alienware eyes mezmerized me. I stood there, not blinking, and knew that this day was a glorious one already. I put up my system, with the extra primary battery and ac adapter i recieved free, on my desk. I opened the notebook as if i was on the threshold of excitement.
Then it hit me: i had to call alienware for a problem i may recieve when i get my system.
I called. The nice man named gary waited patiently as i looked for my account number. I am not used to such good technical support: my older laptop was a compaq. I found it in the trademarked three ring binder i almost had doubts i would recieve. We went through, and it turned out i had nothing wrong with my system.
After the call, i went through the usually XP proffesional start screens. I past those, and installed all updates for my system; didnt take five minutes. I istalled my firewall and antivirus with such speed te install finished by the time i came back from the kitchen for the glass of water i needed. My games work even better than my older notebook, despite the graphics card.
Totally:
This machine is exaclty how i wanted it and more. This suits me, and i am waiting for my school year to start. From the awsome case to how smothly this system runs, i knew i picked something awsome, and that i recieveed what i paid for and more.
Pros:
1. one of the best laptops i have seen, and the performance cannot be measured in a few pros.
Cons: Accessories (even if they were free) were packaged as if they were thrown in, with the protective coverings seperate from the accessories
What a day this is going to be, and what years the next few years will be: I think i have just become a proud owner of the Alienware Area-51 Sentia, and may my days be pleasant.
