8790 bisoncam problem

I just received my Sager laptop today and for some odd reason the camera stopped working. At first it was working fine but then when I installed XP SP1 it seemed to have just stopped. Now the camera is just grey where the picture should be. I read previous posts on this issue but it was never really solved just speculations made on what it could be caused by and ways people thaught it was fixed. Has anyone found a way to fix this yet? Thanks.

The USB 2.0 Device Drivers should be reinstalled after service pack 1. This service pack enable USB 2.0 support.

Bison camera problem

My new Falcon-Northwest FragBook DR came with a BisonCam USB 2, XP Pro SP 2, 2 gig RAM, 3.4E P4. Camera worked fine yesterday morning. After installing Window IE security pack yesterday afternoon it quit working, just a gray screen. System Restore will not all me to "step back" to ANY date.

I've un-installed ALL USB device drivers and installed just the BisonCam, no results. Been on phone for 2 hours with Falcon tech and exhausted all options except using the "Rescue DVD", which is a bit extreme right now.

Any ideas?
