i wasn't aware that "trolling" was some sort of technical jargon?

i do not care if you have been a member for 2 weeks, months or years. It does not change anything.

ive been here for a while, all i have tried to do is help people and give information when possible. i accept emals, pm's and IM's all the time trying to help people with information or problems. i have never attacked anyone. and never had a run in with anyone until now.

why come in here and try and Bash AW and say they misled you when they clearly did not.

Why not just state how you are dissapointed that they wont have any newer cards.

alot of people read these forums trying to decide what laptop to get... maybe YOU are misleading THEM.

i do not feel that anything i have posted is out of line. nor do i feel that i am attacking anyone.

you of all people know that many guests come here to read up on AW and this forum has been verys trong in making up peoples minds one way or another.

it bothers me when people come in here and state things that are false or attack AW for no reason.

back when people came in and said the "built in wireless is awful" or "the washout probelm is crap" i had no probelms with that.

but saying that AW misled us all i feel is out of line, especially in the context posted here which i feel was really carrying on.

there have been several posts on this forum stating how people are upset that there will not be more upgrades... i said nothing to any of them.

but none of them claimed they were lied to or misled

so what is the final story as far as the magnesium allow chassis and the 16.1 screens?? is the body really magnesium or are we talking about just a few sections like the trim or something? also, the 16.1 inch screens i know the earlier 51m2's had probs but what about the new ones?

The framework of the chassis is magnesium alloy. And that includes the screen/lid framework. It quite impressive that you can grab one side of the screen and the entire thing moves in unison.

I've got an early screen and love it. Yes, there is some ghosting but nothing that makes me go "YUK". I play games in it, work on it, ect...and am quite happy.

i got mine in late februrary and did not have the washout problems others talked about...

as for the chasis, it is the same material everywhere except the grips are obviously rubber and the same as the 15.4" model

what is notebook talking about then about the magnesium chassis only being magnesium in certain places? is that something AW fixed in later iterations?

i like the 16.1 in model, i think that the 15.4 in with the 2 extra speakers looks a little strange, the lcd is not really centered, and a lot of space is wasted below the lcd with the extra speakers, jmho

as far as i know the area 51m2 has always been all magnesium alloy(minues the rubber grips)

yah i kind of agree... plus im not really a fan of the widescreen thing in general
