OK heres the problem, I was considering buying the R3000Z for my mobile video editing studio, but then i saw the vid card, and right now im now sure if that 440 Go+ is going to suffice for advanced video editing. The thing is, I need that exact Processor and that exact amount of everything that i have configured (shown below) with a better graphics card at around the same price range (also shown below), i know it will be a little bit more because of the higher vid card, but i dont want it to go up t hat much. SO if anyone can recommend something, please help.

My COnfigured Pc................................

Amd 64 3400+
1 gig ram
NVidia 440 Go+ (Please help me get rid of this)
60 gig 4200 RPM hard drive.

$1,449

--------------------------------------

Please note i need those EXACT specs

I really dont want to go over 1,750, but i guess i could, if totally needed, i dont care about name brands, also i was looking at ibuypower, they seemed pretty cheap, are they good?

i did i few searches on sites, and i can't find a whole lot with those specs for your price. i am not sure you are going to get much better than that GPU, cause everything I looked at (not extremely extensive, sorry) was around 1900-2000 with your specs. Granted, everything i looked at had the ATI 9700 128MB. I don't know bud. I'm sorry. I tried though

You can get a E-machines 6809 for less than that.....only thing is you would have a 3200+. I OC my 6809 200mhz no problem, i'm sure the 6809 is the same. That's a suggestion anyways. Good Luck.

if you are not a hardcore gamer, you probably won't notice the difference between the 9600 and the 9700. and they are both quite a bit better than the nvidia. I am assuming you want to better GPU for games, or am I wrong?

No The Main Reason I Am Concerned About That IS That I edit video a lot and i didnt know if the Nvidia would suffice, everything else is ok

In that case, the 9600 would be great for you, to my knowledge. I don't do video editing, but I was under the impression games were more taxing that video (am i wrong)?

only company, for now, that makes a 60GB 7200RPM HDD is Hitachi. You can get them ~150 on ebay, if you get lucky. or you can froogle.com and search for it, and you can find them around ~200, with shipping i think
