another stupid windows question

i can't believe i'm asking this question, but how in hades can i expand the control panels/printers/network connections that are accessed via the start menu? i remember doing this in xp home...not able to duplicate this time. thanks.

Here's how to do it in Home:

right-click the start menu and click "Properties"

Click the "Customize" button

Click th "Advanced" tab


voila! choose the option "Display as a Menu" for all the items you desire




hope its somewhat the same on Professional

doh! ima moron. been to that window 10 times and for some reason never clicked on the customize button.
