Underclocking a D470V

Hi guys, do you know which version of ClockGen I should use with this model? Apparently it's a Sager NP4780.

Here's the results from CpuZ:

MoBo model - Clevo D400V/D470V - SS78B -
Chipset - SiS 648
SouthBridge - SiS 8

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

mmm. good luck with that, i'd love to see something that let you clock control on a 4xxx series laptop. Locked (bastards) BIOS, SiS 648FX chipset that nothing works with.... i suppose someone will eventually find a way, but i havent yet.

Why do you want to underclock it?

make batteries last longer!

The thing is also hot as a mofo and I can actually see it perform faster when in cool conditions. It's ridiculous.

Yes, It would make the batteries last longer, as well as making the laptop a bit cooler. All that heat can´t be good for the system.... Or for me....

Anyway, if I find anything I´ll let you guys know.

Thanks
