Crucial or Corsair seem to be the preferred RAM brands.

I have a question about RAM too. I'm getting a Velocity Micro built and I can either get 1GB of Mushkin PC3500 DDR433 Black Series or 2GB of PC3200 DDR400, but it doesn't say who makes it. Any opinions of what I should go with?

gordy, you might also want to take a look at Mushkin and OCZ for choices. Yankee, I'd get the Mushkin ram over the generic brand

a lot of brands will work fine. depends what you're looking for in the RAM. do you just want something to run stable at 'default' settings? or are you wanting to overclock this memory and/or use it to its limits?

What about Kingston? and SAMSUNG? Over the years those two have served me well.
