I hate to come up with credentials, but I work for a software company in the special fx business and we support both OS X and Windows. I have both Mac and Windows BOTH at home and in the office. I prefer Windows for the time being, I used to prefer Macs a few years ago. Perhaps when the hardware gets somewhere I will prefer Macs again soon. I have no loyalties to any companies who want to lie to to me to get my money - i.e. all of them. So there goes your "oh my precious PC" argument. I haven't been commited to a single platform since 1991 when I realized I needed both an Amiga and a Mac at the same time.
What I was saying, if you stopped to actually comprehend what I wrote, is that I personally hate that Apple attitude because it's all lies and all it does is create a fake inflated image of Apple that people buy into like children, while keeping them from seeing what's actually wrong with the picture, as they so often do with Microsoft and other companies.
Apple can't be criticized for anything, every time someone does it, regardless of how valid they are, they get mercilessly attacked by Mac zealots who defend Apple from ANY argument, making sense or not. On the other hand, Microsoft cannot make a single move without fighting against a hurricane of vicious criticism and conspiracy theories, regardless of how good (or bad) their intentions are ideas might be.
Bleh, I don't know why I waste my time with this, people have to realize these things on their own.
