My questions will the parts I listed work? and is it hard installing them?

Thanks to whoever that can help

There's a lot of crappy PC3200 flying around now. Save yourself a headache and stick with a name brand (Kingston, Crucial, PNY, etc.).

Crappy.... meaning it won't work? or performance won't be as good?

A 20GB 5400rpm hard drive? Why you going so low end? It's almost a waste to buy that hard drive to use with a 2.8Ghz 800FSB processor based system...Get the 60GB 7200rpm HD from Seagate or Hitachi...

other than the faster load time.. is there any advantage in having a faster HD? Cuz i plan on using external usb2 enclourse with a wd 120gig 8mb cache n it for storing everything

Other than faster load time? What lol. That's the biggest and best and most important advantage! In my opinion if you order a fast a$$ processor like a 2.8Ghz with 800FSB and you have a 4200 or 5400 rpm hard drive behind it your basically creating a bottleneck for data transfer...totally not using the processor to it's fullest potential because you're processor is waiting for the hard drive to transfer data.
