how is the series 1 different from the series 2?

Crap, i should call and change my order and not get the mini-pci wifi card and save some $$. where did you get the intel wifi card? is it possible to add Bluetooth to this laptop?

crap, if they are going to delay my order, i may be SOL; i need this for work as well as some CZ/WC3/etc..

I don't know any difference between series 1 and 2. But I don't think you'll save any money with the wifi card, because, at least for me, it was free. However, if you want to buy an intel card, you can check them out on bizrate or nextag to find the cheapest ones. A cheap one should run you about $32 shipped. I also think that the laptop only has one minipci slot, so bluetooth cannot be put in internally. I already had a PCMCIA bluetooth card from my old laptop which I'm going to use.

i think i might go buy another wifi card too. I wanna use the switch with mine and have that pretty blue light come on. i havent tested the one that came with the laptop yet cause i dont have a wireless router but it seems to be detecting somewireless signals from people in my neighbor hood however they are very weak so i cant get an internet connection.

did your IBUYPOWER E series come with the wireless intel card. It would seem like false advertising if they market the processor as being the centrio but dont offer the intel wireless card which makes it the centrio. Also how good is the battery life of those laptops

yea its some kind of weird brandwireless. after updating windows it shows it as a PRISM wireless card or something like that.
3:15 hours dvd
3:45 hours DVD that was ripped to hard drive
1:30-2:30 hours for gamming depending on which game i play
4:15 hours internet, word processing, and other programs that dont require much of cpu or gpu

ill get a review up later. im still working on it.

One month to the day

I ordered from ibuypower.com on july 1st, they still have not shipped out my order, then again I did have it custom painted blue, but still. These guys need to learn that 5~10 business days isn't one month. I called them and they upgraded me to 3 day shipping, but I still feel like I am getting the shaft.
