Thanks redfish. My virus came from the same addiction. Damn viruses. I seem to have it under control, but i may never be able to use internet explorer again. not much of a loss though. mozilla is much better. and my ie was getting hard to save files.

The problem seems to be a coolwebwatcher malware which stubbornly keeps returning after i delete it with adaware.

My kid got this on his PC the other day, it's a pain in the ass to get rid of.

Thanks i will have to check that out and see if it cures my computer. I don't like having a sick computer. Everything seems much slower now and i can't seem to run far cry that well. i guess i will have to wait till my new computer comes for that game.
