cd-rw/dvd combo drive makes very loud, scratching noise.

hi, i just got my new i8600 today, and i've noticed, when it's reading data from a cd, the drive makes a very loud, obnoxious, scratching noise, akin to the noise you get when you cut wood with a dull hand saw.

have any of you experienced this? and should i call dell to get a tech over

Umm yeah, I think calling them would probably be a good idea.

I certainly would for something like that.
