Do Not Buy From PC Torque!!!! - Page 4

Hypersonic does a real nice job painting. Most say they do flawless jobs, i am not quite sure if anything can be flawless but that sounds pretty good to me. Velocity micro also seems to do a nice job painting. Then there's voodoo and falcon, but then your paying for the name.

When comparing costs with the paintjob, please compare the costs w/o the paint jobs. Then you may see the "real difference"?
I see. The other prices are much lower. I just wish it was still cheaper the paint job that is. Again I can't really decide where i will buy it until it comes out. So if cost wise is save the most with pctorque i will go with them. I am not sure why paint needs to be baked though. Does that make it harder?

BTW i would like to see color swatches for it. The listed colors don't show me what the color looks like. And will the 4750 be available at launch with the color options?
I do think it is a little pricy and i think that is legitimate concern, but if pctorque overall price for my modified 4750 is less the 2900 i hope than i may purchase from you. However how long does it take for a custom paint job?

lol he actually said he was going to flame the forums. Does he not understand that most people on these forums already have a sager and already have their own opinion of pctorque.

this guy (jmcolth) is funny. the first problem that occurred with his laptop he loses it. He didn’t want to try to fix the problem just avoid it all together. this guy will probably be back in the forums using a different name when his laptop from that other reseller is experiencing other problems.

Aw, now, that's no fun! I tried (but failed) w/ the comments directed @ Amir's gas and his "crack" problem...

Oh, well.

And yeah, I doubt jm'll be back. Didn't exactly find the responsive audience he was hoping for w/ the flames.

To all of you that replied;

Thanks. Just be careful. I really don't car what any of you think. I didn't loose it. I just voiced my discontent. You all voiced your opinions and all pretty much acted like a bunch of little kids with your comments and name calling. I have know respect for any of you and that is all that counts in the long run. It only matters what I think. Again I say, wait till you get screwed by sager or pc torque. Lets see how you act. For your information I have been dealing with sager and pc torque on this issue for quit some time now. You speak of pc torques fabulous customer service. What customer service? They are just resellers. They just say call sager. Wow, what great customer service. Hey you get what you pay for. In closeing. YOU CAN ALL EAT MY SHORTS!! HAHAHA!!!

Your warranty was refunded - the first year transit was not. This is standard and is clearly stated in the policies that you agreed to when checking out. We can't read these aloud to everyone, so we have to rely on you to read them and be familiar with them. Had you done this, perhaps you would have not purchased the coverage. That is entirely up to you.

Next, Sager offered to make it right. Do you really expect a company (any company) to send you a $3,000 laptop and just trust you that you will send the other back? While I realize you are likely a stand up guy and would do just that, they simply can't do that. No company would. For you to be upset about that isn't exactly fair. All they wanted was an authorization. It wasn't as though they were charging you for it and then refunding. While it is unfortuante that your laptop had problems, they were prepared to make it right at no cost to you.

You chose to return your laptop. It would have been a working perfectly laptop had you allowed Sager to send a new one. You chose not to, and thus received a refund. As is clearly stated, shipping is not refunded. We allow people to "buy and try" (and customers have bought and returned several times while they try to find what works for them). To allow this type of service, we simply are not able to refund shipping. It is not as though we are refunded by UPS either.

We make attempts to work with customers in situations were we feel exceptions should be made, but when you call us and demand your money and then say you will post/flame/spam the forums because you didn't get what you wanted, well that doesn't give us much room to work with you. No disrespect Laura, but obviously you dont know the whole story either. I didnt call up and demand my money, I just called up and asked why I didnt get my money. Luke explained too me there fine print, and offered nothing in else in return. So I guess you dont have the whole story, so before you open your mouth get the story straight! or maybe luke wasnt quite honest with you=)

imcloth1,

I rarely defend anyone on these forums; however, in this case it is a "must". Having dealt with PCT and Laura, I must state that your opinion of her "where-with-all" regarding your activities is completely out-of-kilter. She, IMHO, cuts throught the BS and "get's the fact's" and will fight like the dickens if one of "her" customers appears to be getting the shaft and/or bend over backwards to explain the situation.

From your posts, displayed attitued, and simple lack of language skills (yes that's a "slam" in case you have trouble understanding it), my comment to you would be a simple FO, and have a nice life - just do it elsewhere.

Sincerely,
