Install RAID without floppy?

Can't you just copy the RAID drivers to a cdrom instead of using a floppy during Windows XP install?

Has anyone done this? I don't want to buy floppy just for this.

Thanks.

If you are talking about the 8790 - I don't think so, because it is looking for the floopy address and not just "any dynamic" device assignment.

I'm going to try the instructions based of this page:
http://www.spc.int/it/TechHead/unatt...third_part.htm

Anyone tried this before? Any reason why it shouldn't work? Is this different from this "slipstream" I've heard of but don't know anything about?
