So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

One of the longest and most enduring brands in computers is Thinkpad. Originally developed by IBM in the USA, Thinkpad notebook computers are now...
thats some nice work rince... one thing puzzled me that the battery replaces the dvdcdrw drive... i dont know about that, i kinda use that a lot hehe...
its good to know u can have beacoup de la battery hehe
asus m6n dual battery works the same way. the optical battery goes in place of the cd/dvd drive to get it 8 hours. u cant have the 2nd battery in and the cd/dvd drive together at once, its either one or the other, just like the compal cl56
its not that big a deal if you use no-cd cracks for your games.
gamecopyworld.com has fixed exes for u to download free so u dont have to use ur cd/dvds for gaming...
however u are short if u want to put in ur dvds for viewing movies...
I just noticed this on the BT module site posted earlier:
Profile Support
General Access Profile
Serial Port Profile
Service Discovery Application Profile
File Transfer Profile
Dial-up Networking Profile
LAN Access Profile
Does this mean BT mice ala logitech are not supported?
Guys I have some more info on the potential 4 cell battery but this 4 cell does not fit the optical bay. A friend of mine has an Acer TM290 series notebook that appears to be built on the CL 50/56 platform. The case looks exactly like my Hypersonic CX5. He gave me an extra battery to try in my laptop today and the battery is a BATCL50L4. Apparently this is a 4 cell battery made by Sony as well. You can see some reference on the Acer website in this PDF: http://global.acer.com/support/regul...ertificate.pdf
The PDF states the following, Sony BATCL50L4, Li-ion type 14.8V 2150mAh. This sounds almost exactly like the battery rincewind has in the graphic on the first page of this thread. I am not sure but I do know this battery will fit in the battery slot but not in the optical bay without some major modifications!
I wonder if the Acer battery will work ok with the Hypersonic... the Acer has a 1.5A charging current versus the Hypersonic battery 3.0 charging current... the Acer is also a 2150 mAh versus the Hypersonic 4300 mAh... I would hate to screw up the computer by using a subpar battery... any electonic techies out there wish to comment on the charging differences or mAh differences?
I figured the big difference would be in the 1.5V versus 3.0V charging current.... I am not sure if our CL56 charger would potentially "fry" the battery..... I did notice the Sony battery on rincewinds chart is a 2150mAh... but I also notice it says "Disapproved" out to the right side of the chart... I wonder if this means don't use the Sony batteries in this notebook?
hmm if you really need dell might have duel battery + cd drive... at least my model does i'm nto sure about the new ones but i can't see why they woulnd't
