If any of you have kids or like me justl like toys, I bet this will be high on the list this year for christmas I know I want one just to torture the cat with!!

my random comment for the day...

i have a friend who used that robosapien thing for their english final project...

they had a dance off and he finally defeated the robot using an english book, funniest thing i've seen. too bad i don't have a copy of it...

but yeah, so do you use that tank to sneak up on people, pelt them w/ BBs, then frag them in the game while they're on the ground or something?

2 3D screens. 1 is touch. It's harly larger than the PSP, but has same amount of buttons, along with an addon mic. They both have 802.11b networking/gaming. And their graphics are very very similar. the PSP uses disks, the DS gets' hours longer battery. The PSP's screen is slightly larger, the DS's screens can be combined into one for a large screen, or can do two complete seperate things. Do some research before you come here saying it's ugly. It's not thicker, and hardly bigger in other ways, to the PSP. You'd know that if you actually researched it.

They are both great systems, and I will probably end up with both.

Yhea i jsut thought that lil dancin robot was cute but you guys are right the PSP and nintendo DS are the winners in the hot toys ofr christmas category. I will probalbly end up with one or the other. IM leaning toward the DS for now but Im still keeping my eye on the PSP. The main reason is games I ahve yet to see any games that intrest me on the PSP although that may change. The DS however has a metriod game and Mario 64 x4 which looks sweet.

If Sony releases a slew of games for the PSP, I'd look into it. Nintendo is more of a kiddie brand which was fine when I was 12.

Anyone also hear of Sony's new Walkman that supposed to give IPOD some stiff competition?

The gamecube has plenty of M rated games. And allot of the E rated games are fun to anyone anyways. But whatever, each to their own. and Mario 64x4 seams neat, and they're coming out with another mario sidescroller And the 3D metroid is cool, i already have metroid prime for gamecube and like it.

I agree nintendo does make some great games I like mario and does it realy ahve to be about blood guts and killing all the time! Ok those things can be entertaing but its gets old after a while I like seing nintendo experiment with diferent things like th touch screen and such makes the games more interesting.

New mario side scroller!

My favorite games are Sonic/mario/metroid/etc... Most of the Sega/nintendo ones along with Crash. As far as mario, i loved all the sidescrollers this one seams great. All of nintendo's systems are either amazing for the time, or have something different, better or worse, about them. In this case the screens, and the mic. That's another thing i really like about nintendo. Though the battlefield games for PC are up on my list too, I own them, and they are so much fun, well worth the money.

Well it was SUPPOSED to give iPod some competition....but then Sony decided to have it support its wonderful proprietary format, ATRAC (or whatever it is called)....and nothing but ATRAC.

In any event, not much can touch the iPod...it owns all

BUT......it would be nifty to see some head-to-head competition between Sony and Apple for the ultimate mp3 player.
