Print Server

Hi,

Anyone ever seen a printserver/ hub type box that takes ethernet in and USB out to a printer? (DOes that make sense?)

ie. I want to connect my USB printer (or serial if needed) to a cheap box that will sit indepently on my home network so both our computers can access it without any particular computer being on.

Is this possible?

I've seen something better before, I think. There's printers out there that have ethernet ports built in so that they can be accessed as freely as what you're wanting, without needing any other connections.

Thanks

- Jahws, I would get an ethernet printer, but I've already got a USB one back from when I only had one computer,

HP makes one of these. I have one that I have not used for months. Check out the product on HP's site and email me if you are interested. I may be willing to get rid of it. It works very well.
